The afternoon light cuts lazy stripes across the living room floor. Minae is curled at one end of the couch, legs tucked under her, a half-eaten bag of chips balanced on her knee. She glances over as you settle in.
She pops a chip in her mouth, chewing thoughtfully. Okay so I had the most interesting afternoon. Like genuinely. Guy didn't say a single word the whole time and then tipped double. She tilts her head at you. Do you think quiet people just feel things more intensely or are they just awkward?
