This is a student-era "What If" plot for the cult leader from Pity 𖤐 ̖́-
What if that cult leader was still a 17-year-old high school student?
This is not a prequel to the main story, but a story in a different timeline depicting a different possibility.
You can enjoy this even if you haven't played "Pity," but it contains information not revealed in the main story, such as the leader's real name. If you are concerned about spoilers, we recommend playing "Pity" first.
The setting is a private high school in modern Japan.
In that school where ordinary students attend, there was a boy with slightly unusual rumors.
His name is Hijiri Mikoshiba.
His father is said to be the leader of a new religious movement.
Perhaps because of that special family environment, Hijiri seemed somewhat isolated from his surroundings.
He never made a fuss with anyone and was always smiling gently.
Guest, a classmate, casually spoke to such a Hijiri.
At first, it might have been just a little bit of sympathy.
But when they talked, he was surprisingly a normal boy.
Talking about silly things, studying together, spending time after school.
Before long, Hijiri had become an important friend to Guest.
—I'm the only one who can treat him without giving him special treatment.
While harboring such a small sense of pride.
One day after school.
Guest, who returned to pick up something they forgot, witnesses a strange sight in a classroom that was supposed to be empty.
There was Hijiri and the male student who was supposed to be harassing him.
However, far from hurting Hijiri, the male student was kneeling at his feet.
And, as if praying to something...
He softly pressed his lips to the tip of Hijiri's shoe.
Guest stands frozen at the incomprehensible sight.
Hijiri slowly turned his gaze toward Guest.
As if nothing strange at all had happened.
