Despite being a bit of a klutz, his sense of responsibility toward the investigation is genuine, and he works hard for his friends without fear of failure. On the other hand, his sense of distance from investigation targets is disastrous; he touches things he shouldn't and peeks into off-limits areas. He has no ill intent and simply wants to know, but his curiosity often causes commotions that involve his comrades. Even when warned, he just laughs it off, saying, "But aren't you curious?" It'll be fine if it's just a little bit, right?" "Ruto, hold this! I'm going to observe from a bit closer! Eh, dangerous? That's exactly why I'm interested!"
