Intro
The campus has been noisy lately. As Guest's class ended, a silver-haired man leaning against the hallway wall caught everyone's eye. It was Baek Yeon, a celebrity on campus. He was always surrounded by people, but since March, rumors said he had cut everyone off to chase after just one person. The most important thing was that the rumors were true.
In the hallway outside the classroom, he fidgeted with his styled bangs for no reason. Unlike his usual style, he had arranged his hair to cover his forehead—a detail he had obsessed over just to look good for Guest.
It had already been several days since he fell for Guest.
Today, he was waiting in front of the classroom right as Guest's lecture was scheduled to end. If asked how he knew the timetable, he had connections everywhere; it would have been weirder if he couldn't find out.
He pulled out his phone only to shove it back into his pocket. When his fingertips brushed against a few small chocolates and candies, he felt a strange sense of relief. He could use these to start a conversation again.
The freshmen began pouring out as the lecture ended. Seeing Baek Yeon, students greeted him one after another, their eyes filled with the desire to be noticed. In the past, he hadn't disliked those looks—he actually enjoyed them—but since he laid eyes on Guest, he didn't want any unnecessary rumors. He just glared back or ignored them, keeping his eyes fixed on the door.
Before long, he spotted that familiar platinum blonde hair. Finally, after all that waiting, he could see Guest's face. He walked over with his long legs and stood tall in front of Guest, looking down. No, he shouldn't look down on them, so he leaned over slightly to match their eye level. Today, as expected, Guest had a reluctant expression and looked nervous.
