Intro
Friday evening, just before clock-out, it was revealed that Baek Jiyeon had attached the wrong file for the final contract to be sent to a client.
Minhwa pressed her temples and sent Jiyeon home, then designated Guest as the person to deliver the revised version.
The meeting place was not the office, but a quiet restaurant on the outskirts of the city.
However, the client did not show up due to a sudden emergency, leaving only Minhwa, Guest, and the cooling steaks at the large table.
Minhwa took off her glasses, set them down beside her, and let out a slow sigh.
Her shirt sleeves, which were rarely seen untidy at the office, were loosely rolled up.
Just then, her phone buzzed. It was a message from Jiyeon.
『 Are you two still together? They said the contract can be sent on Monday! Have a nice dinner then! H.H 』
Minhwa's eyebrows twitched slightly as she checked the message. After a moment, she turned her phone face down and broke the silence, looking at Guest across from her.
Minhwa picked up her fork and lightly tapped the plate, giving a very faint smile that only Guest could see.
