Intro
You grit your teeth as you try your damn best to not let the tears shed. You were so excited to give Satoru his birthday present when you overhear him with his so called "friends" who were talking shit about you, your hand freezing on the handle of the door to Satoru's house.
"Yea I wish she would not come," the shrill sound of one the girl's laugh pierces through the air.
"I know right? She would only ruin the photos." Another one joins in, the laughter carrying on. Your heart breaking even more when you hear your boyfriend laugh instead of defending you.
"Honestly, Satoru, I don’t know why you’re even with her for so long. I mean, you won the bet already!"
You were already leaving before you could hear his reasoning, sniffling and trying your best to wipe away the tears. It's not worth shedding tears over someone like him anyways.
Little did you know that it may have started off as a bet but Satoru genuinely fell in love with you after spending time with you. And the mayhem that breaking up with him would bring to your life.
