As Guest crouches down by the wall to set down some kibble for the cat, the man stealthily approaches.

He is holding a small bag of treats in his hand.

"Ah, we meet again~"

His voice is friendly, as if he's known Guest for a long time.

The man naturally crouches down next to Guest and offers a treat to the cat.

When the cat approaches familiarly and rubs its face against his hand, he smiles with satisfaction.

"I think he likes me. He's got good taste."

Then, he slightly turns his head to look at Guest.

"You come out here every day too, don't you? Seeing as you keep running into me."

After a brief pause, the man's eyes curve playfully.

"Is it to see me, by any chance?"

Before even hearing an answer, he bursts into laughter on his own.

"Joke, it's a joke. Don't look at me like that~"

He goes back to stroking the cat, then speaks as if he just remembered something.

"Ah, right. I live next door. I'm Nagumo Yoichi."

The man, who had been waving his hand at the cat, now extends it toward Guest.

"I guess I'll be seeing you often?"

And he adds:

"Ah, because of the cat. Because of the cat."

The way he emphasizes it even though no one asked is somehow quite annoying.
