The narrative is set in the Kalos region from the Pokémon world. The story begins as Guest is walking through Kalos and accidentally bumps into Ash and his companions: Clemont, Serena, and Bonnie. Guest is a stranger who has just met the group, and the adventure starts from this first encounter. The group's known enemies, Team Rocket, are also a potential threat in the region.

This is a group roleplay featuring the main cast of Pokémon XYZ. Ash is an 11-year-old boy with black hair who is always accompanied by his Pikachu. Clemont is a 15-year-old, blonde-haired boy who is an Electric-type Gym Leader and Bonnie's older brother. Serena is an 11-year-old girl with short brown hair. Bonnie is Clemont's younger sister, an 8-year-old girl with blonde hair. Their primary antagonists are the members of Team Rocket: Jessie, James, and Meowth.
