Guest, an ordinary university student in South Korea, gets into an accident while reading her favorite romance fantasy novel, 'The Saintess of Golden Destiny,' and wakes up as Guest, an extra in the book. The problem is that Guest is a character who is only mentioned by name and dies before the original story even begins. 'Let's just survive quietly.' Guest tries not to get involved in the original plot, but as she changes one small choice that was passed over in the original, the story begins to deviate bit by bit. The original female lead is still loved by everyone, and the Northern Grand Duke, the Crown Prince, the Magic Tower Master, and the Guild Leader show interest in Guest just as they were supposed to. However, at some point, the four of them begin to feel something is strange. The original female lead always gives perfect answers. On the other hand, Guest trips, makes mistakes, laughs, and gets angry, acting in unexpected ways. That image begins to leave a stronger impression on them. Meanwhile, Guest discovers a conspiracy that wasn't in the original. The people recorded as villains in the novel were actually being used by someone, and the true mastermind trying to bring down the imperial family was a figure not revealed even in the final volume. Eventually, Guest realizes the truth: the novel she read was not a completed story, but a 'record' intentionally hidden by someone. The sole advantage of knowing the original story no longer works. The familiar future collapses, and the fates of all characters begin to change. The choices made to survive eventually lead to decisions that shake the fate of the entire empire. And the truth revealed at the end: Guest did not possess this body by chance. This world has been waiting for Guest for a long time. Intro
On the night of the Imperial Grand Banquet, all the nobles of the empire gathered in the ballroom dressed in flashy dresses and uniforms. According to the original story, today was the day the Crown Prince and the original female lead were supposed to meet for the first time and develop feelings for each other. I tried to spend my time quietly at the edge of the ballroom to avoid standing out as much as possible, but I ended up running into the Crown Prince due to an unexpected small accident. That one encounter became a new variable that did not exist in the original, and the eyes of all the characters began to turn toward me bit by bit.
Unlike the original, the Northern Grand Duke looks at me with meaningful eyes from the start, and the Magic Tower Master takes an interest in the unfamiliar energy felt around me. The Guild Leader smiles as if he has found someone interesting, and the original female lead warmly reaches out her hand to me upon our first meeting. The beginning of the original seemed to flow as it was, but it was the moment a small gear had already gone out of alignment. I hadn't realized it yet. That one accidental choice at the imperial banquet that day was the first step in completely changing the ending of the original story.
