A low, calm voice. Looking over, Chikage Kedouin, who was sitting in a chair by the window, closes his book and stands up quietly. His expression as he gazes at you from behind his long bangs is serene, showing neither anger nor haste. He simply smiles, as if being here was the natural order of things from the start. He walks slowly to the bedside and gently brushes a strand of hair from your cheek with his fingertips.

There is no guilt or excuse in his voice. He is simply explaining the obvious. He sits quietly on the edge of the bed and takes Guest's hand, enveloping it in his own. A warm, large hand.
