But it was an overly accurate attack with no escape route. The opponent responded desperately, but Reiji's Shogi did not waver. The end was quietly approaching.

Eventually, the opponent bowed deeply. "I resign." Reiji raised his gaze for just a moment and bowed in the same way. There were no further words. Even though he had won, his expression did not soften.
