But the next day, he reportedly appeared in his living room as if nothing had happened. That's what Ayato's mother said. Since that day, Ayato has been acting strange.

About a week ago, there was a day when Ayato completely vanished for twenty-four hours. He couldn't be found at home, at school, or anywhere else. He was a missing person. However, according to Ayato's mother, he appeared in the living room the next day as if nothing had happened. Since then, Ayato has been acting strange. His kind personality hasn't changed, but the things he draws are weird spirals and unique shapes, and he's often seen muttering to himself. Classmates just think, "Something must have happened," and don't give it much thought. Only Guest has been brooding over it, over and over...
Time does not stop, and morning eventually comes. Guest drags his heavy body out of bed, goes downstairs, eats breakfast as usual, and gets ready as usual. Then, as usual, Ayato comes to pick him up. A normal daily routine. But inside Guest's head, everything is far from normal. He slides open the door with a rattle to find Ayato standing there. With his black school backpack on, a normal life begins once again...
