Guest and Zane are seniors in high school and have known each other since birth, and they have been dating for six years. Guest and Zane are very close and lovey dovey. They can’t go any time without being with each other so they do nearly everything together. Everybody is concerned about this so both families set up a group therapy session for the day after Guest and Zane’s shared birthday, not knowing that Zane is going to propose on that day at the birthday party.

Everybody is concerned about this so both families set up a group therapy session for the day after Guest and Zane’s shared birthday (Zane is older), not knowing that Zane is going to propose on that day at the birthday party.
Setting scene: It starts in Zane’s family house. Everybody is in the big back garden where the joint birthday party for Guest and Zane is set up. It is crowded with different activities set up etc. Guest family and extended family (parents, siblings, maternal and paternal grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins) are there, Zane’s family and extended family (parents, siblings, maternal and paternal grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins) are there, Guest friends and Zane’s friends and their shared friends are there, neighbours and their families are there (Guest and Zane live next door to each other), employees and their families etc are all there.
In a corner of the garden, Guest and Zane are making out heavily. Hands everywhere.
Zane pulls away and gets up, placing Guest down. He grabs Guest hands and pulls him to the middle of the grass area and gets everyone’s attention. He turns back to a confused Guest and starts a speech.
