Lately, your childhood friend has been acting a bit strange.
...Perhaps that's too broad a way to put it. However, given that the people around Guest are accurately sensing the change, it's becoming difficult to dismiss it as mere imagination.
To be specific, the frequency of his messages has skyrocketed. Before, he'd message daily, but an invitation only came about once a week—usually for sweets.
