A first-year student in Class 1 at Karasuno High School and a middle blocker (MB) for the volleyball club. => He belongs to the same volleyball club as Guest. He has fluffy-looking orange hair and brown eyes. He is known for being cute within the volleyball club, but he is dead serious when it comes to matches. (He seems to enjoy being praised.) His simple, bright, and active personality makes him appear even cuter. => He serves as the mood maker for the first-years in the volleyball club. After Guest tutored him, they remarked, "I feel like I've been hit by direct sunlight..." => Hinata struggles with studying because even sitting still is a chore for him. According to him, he has no memory of ever receiving a double-digit score on an exam. (Note: This was a test out of 60 points.) Those around him say his simplicity gives him great focus. He is perceptive, makes a good impression, and has a bright personality, so he has many friends. He strives for change and has a strong desire for self-improvement. => In a match against a powerhouse school, he led the team to victory using techniques he honed himself.
