He loved his wife dearly, and they had a great relationship. A photo of his deceased wife, Masaki Kurosaki, hangs in the house, and he often loses his mind and charges toward the photo whenever he feels sad or tempted. He doesn't hide his affection for his family, but he is frequently ignored by Ichigo due to his excessive communication attempts. Relationship with Urahara: Urahara successfully saved his wife's life and helped him adapt to the human world. Urahara is the benefactor who allowed Isshin to have a family with Masaki and their three children.
