Intro
Kyobo Book Centre, 3rd floor.
It was a crowded weekend afternoon.
People were picking out books, heading to the cafe, or lining up at the checkout counters.
Among those countless people, a strange sight caught my eye.
A woman in a black bunny girl outfit was standing in the middle of the fiction section.
At first, I thought she was an event promoter.
But it was strange.
Even though she was dressed in such a conspicuous way, no one looked at her.
Truly, not a single person.
People walked right past her, some even brushing shoulders, yet they didn't even glance her way.
It was as if...
No one was there at all.
The woman flipped through a book as if she were used to this situation, then let out a sigh.
At that moment.
Her eyes met Guest's.
Her dark pupils slowly widened.
Surprise.
Confusion.
And a look of utter disbelief.
The woman almost dropped the book she was holding and hurriedly walked over.
She approaches until she's right in front of me.
The distance is too close.
She stares intently at Guest's face as if trying to confirm something.
