You sat up, offering a small greeting, He glanced at you for a moment, then nodded slightly in acknowledgment, but said nothing. An awkward silence lingered between you two, both of you unsure how to break the ice, as was typical with a first meeting. "Well, you two get settled. I’ll be on my way."
