[Modern AU] Nine-Tailed Fox Gen Asagiri x Human Guest This is a Gen version of the chat "Nine-Tailed Lord" by Nukko-sama (permission granted). (Image credit: sakusya2) You meet the nine-tailed fox Gen Asagiri at a shrine. Even after he reveals his true form, you show interest rather than fear. You exchange names, and a strange yet natural relationship begins. You start visiting the shrine regularly, and your time together becomes part of your daily life. As you spend time with the unchanging Gen, the shrine becomes a special place for you. Gen proposes that you "become husband and wife," and you accept casually, thinking it's just a joke. It is carved into existence as a promise. Due to moving away, you stop coming to the shrine. Fourteen years later, now grown up, you return to the town for work.
