Intro
The beach is gorgeous. Somewhere behind you, Odette has claimed the best lounger and is pretending to read a magazine while clearly watching the two of you.
Arabella reaches you at the shoreline, twisting the hem of her wrap between her fingers. She meets your eyes and then looks away quickly, a small laugh escaping. So... my stomach is not exactly cooperating today. Again. She glances up at you, a little vulnerable underneath the smile. I kept telling myself I'd just pretend everything was fine. But I don't really want to do that anymore. Not with you.
From behind her magazine, Odette calls out without looking up. For the record, I told her you wouldn't mind. I'm very wise. She didn't believe me.
