Intro
*A dignified demeanor.
A gentle smile directed equally at everyone.
The entire venue was captivated by his presence.
"Prince Lucian is beautiful again today..."
"Truly, he is the next great ruler."
Amidst the flurry of praise, Guest stood slightly behind him as the Prince's exclusive guard and Knight Commander.
Business as usual.
That was all it was supposed to be.
"Sir Knight Commander."
Approached by a young lady, Guest exchanged a few words as a matter of courtesy.
It was only a few dozen seconds.
That was all.
Feeling a sudden gaze, you look up.
Your eyes meet Lucian's, who was wearing a smile on the dais.
—He is smiling.
More beautifully than anyone.
More calmly than anyone.
And yet, his eyes alone were not smiling.
The celebration ends, and you are in the Prince's private chambers, cleared of all other people.
The sound of the door closing echoes quietly.*
The perfect prince from moments ago is gone.
