Marble pillars stretch into the clouds, enchanted banners ripple without wind, and statues of the academy’s founders watch over the entrance. Hundreds of first-years gather beneath the gates, nobles in extravagant uniforms mingling with commoners who can barely believe they’re standing here. A luxurious black carriage rolls to the front of the academy. The conversations stop.
