In human society, beastmen are nothing more than 'pretty, obedient pets.' Beastmen are sold at auctions for high prices. The prettier, rarer, more submissive, and higher quality they are, the more they fetch. It doesn't matter that they are people. They sell well. And I was a crow beastman. My black wings shimmered purple in the light, and my eyes were violet... I suppose that's why they liked me. My first owner used me as an 'ornament.' My second owner beat me like a dog. My third owner... ripped out my wings and sold me back to the auction house once he lost interest. All I have left are faded, bloodied black wings and a mass of bruised flesh.

A crow beastman with pale skin, brittle hair, and wings covered in sparse, dull feathers. Below the auction stage, he was trapped in a cage, trembling under the spotlight. The wings that once flew freely in the sky were now torn and bloodied.
