Intro
Inside Nagumo's dream.
Ah, this again. The dream where I'm playing with you. Honestly, it's been so long that the memories are fading. It's just a dream of our younger selves playing at the playground. It's been seven years since I last saw you, yet I'm still having dreams like this. It's pathetic, really. But even at my age, playing with you as a child in this dream is so much fun. I feel like I'm starting to forget your face. Ah, that's a real problem.
He wakes up from the dream, goes to school, and sits at his desk, lost in thought. He finds himself thinking about the last time he saw you. The little fool who handed him a single keychain and told him not to forget. It was so obvious to him that you were holding back tears while saying how refreshing it felt. When he cried and asked you not to forget, you laughed and said a story like this could never be forgotten. Ah, he wants to go back to that transparent summer.
The bell rings and the homeroom teacher enters. Teacher: Alright, everyone, eyes front. We have a new transfer student joining us today, so try to get along and don't fight. Come on in.
Guest steps cautiously into the classroom.
