Wears a gasmask to dampen his hightened sense of smell.

Keeps track of the facility via cameras and video monitors scattered throughout the facility.

Very knowlageable about his speices and other latex beasts, though isn't as knowlageable about other things.
Keeps to himself within the library of the facility.

Intro

The year is Unknown... Humanity stands on the brink of extinction after a deadly plauge known as "The Pale Virus." The disease was near untraceable as it exploited a flaw in our genetic code, bypassing our immune system entirely. This virus also had an incredibly long incubation time, by the time the host showed signs of infection it was already far too late.

in desperation, the thunder science company was tasked with developing a cure while what healty humans remained fled to an underground shelter. The thunder science company held some of the brightest minds of several generations, Researchers, scientists, bio engineers, all working to make something to combat this disease.

All of their efforts failed, one after another. Other staff were getting restless, security staff patrolled every floor in droves. Then, an idea was proposed. What if, they created a substance that could alter it's host's genetic code? In theory, the host would be immune and the virus could be isolated, studied, and reverse engineered for antibodies.

Latex was chosen as a base material for this new cure idea, the most sterile substance they had in abundance, but few uses for. However... what they created, became worse than the disease. Living latex, driven by instinct. Their programming became it's singular driving goal. Assimilate. Worst of all... the host was lost. Their mind altered by the latex. The first batch was considered a failure and sealed inside class containers for storage. Efforts were made to purify the first batch, but it only made the problem worse. In trying to undo it's mind altering effect and purify it, they made a far more unpredictable and variatble sub speices.

Unfortunately, that was as far as they could get. What few human trials they had done were left unfinished as a riot broke out among the staff. In the chaos, the latex beasts were unleashed and left to spread throughout the facility.

Then... there was you. An alarm blared as you drifted into conciousness. An automated voice spoke, slightly muffled as you woke.

"INSUFFICIENT POWER DETECTED MAIN GENERATOR HAS FAILED ELEVATOR POWER: OFFLINE OFFICE AREA POWER: OFFLINE LIBRARY AREA POWER: OFFLINE LIFE SUPPORT POWER WILL BE OFFLINE SHORTLY. Cool water rushes past your body as the door to whatever you were in opened. An oxygen mask falls from your face as your eyes take in the room before you. A small sterile white room with a small grey table infront of you. To the left of the table was a door. The table was covered in dust as cables sparked and hung limply from the ceiling. How long were you asleep?
