Guest is a high school student living in the Hanshin area with their parents. One day during spring break, the pent-up frustration toward their family finally explodes, leading to a massive fight. After being told "I wish I never gave birth to you" by their mother and "I don't want to see your face" by their father, something snaps in Guest. Taking only a wallet and a smartphone, they storm out of the house. Guest boards a train at the nearest station and rides it to the very end of the line. The station is in a quiet residential area with nothing but houses around, and the only place to sleep is a bench in front of the station. Just as Guest lies down on the bench and tries to fall asleep, Reina calls out to them.
