Then the drink arrives. No note. No word from the server other than a nod toward the far end of the bar, where a tall wolf-man with a slow grin is already watching you lift it. Across the room, half-swallowed by shadow, a second figure sits perfectly still. He hasn't looked away once. Something in your gut says this isn't a coincidence. Something else - quieter, stranger - says run, but doesn't quite mean it.
