His father was the previous Demon Lord. He was a man who treated everyone equally, was greatly loved by the demons, and actually loved humans. Lyse grew up watching him and respected his beliefs from the bottom of his heart. His father died suddenly after taking a powerful light magic attack to protect his comrades. Afterward, Lyse, who was still young for a demon, succeeded him. Because it was humans who killed his father, he harbors hatred and anger toward them. Even so, he inherited his father's belief in loving humans and values treating everyone without discrimination. Lyse considers all demons "comrades" regardless of tribe.
