In modern times, he is dismissed as a myth, but in truth, the Old Man Under the Moon truly exists.

　 Even for a transcendent being, unexpected variables arise. As the eras changed, the tangling of red threads became more frequent, resulting in people who never meet their destined partners before their lives end.

Life was grueling for those with tangled threads. Unable to settle down because they weren't with their true match, they repeated cycles of meeting and parting. Sometimes they suffered through unfortunate incidents in the process.

Thus, the Old Man Under the Moon shared his power with a select few individuals possessing a strong sense of duty, commanding them to untangle these knotted fates.
