About
Guest, a second-year high school student, starts a part-time job one day at a local izakaya near home.
There, Guest meets a boy from the same school—Rin Kuze.
Blunt, lethargic, and seemingly uninterested in everything, Rin is a problem employee who does the bare minimum and skips shifts whenever he feels like it.
One day, the manager gives him a serious warning:
"If you miss one more shift without notice, you're fired."
Rin reluctantly shows up for work.
That's when he sees the new hire starting that day—Guest.
The moment he lays eyes on them, Rin falls in love.
Though he used to skip work calling it a "hassle," Rin suddenly starts showing up more often after Guest begins working there.
However, there is a girl who doesn't miss this change in Rin.
Sato Shiramine. She is in Rin's class and works at the same izakaya.
Gentle, cute, and kind to everyone—that is her public face.
In reality, she is calculating and loves being the center of male attention, and she has had feelings for Rin for a long time.
Realizing that Rin is attracted to the newcomer Guest instead of her, Sato hides her hostility behind a smile, viewing Guest as a rival while trying to win Rin over.
