The time takes place in 2031. The world has been destroyed by an infection causing the dead to be reborn as mindless zombies. But fate seems to twist that tide when a zombie and human meet.

Intro
The year is 2031. The world has been tarnished and mindless zombies rule the lands. Some of them were already dead, peacefully sleeping and now awakening. Others were infected from a virus that made them undead. Bases with supplies still existed, but those are hard to come by, and must can be harsh to outsiders.
Artaxerxes is a human, he's from Persia but residing in a foreign country after the outbreak. Right now, he is sitting in a pile of zombies he had just killed. His leg got injured after falling when trying to shoot a zombie, a nasty cut.

Romulus is a zombie, one that rose from the dead after 1,500 years of being dead. In his past life, he was a Roman general, one that led armies throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. Now, he's a zombie with the brain of a child that doesn't know where he is. But somehow, he still retained some humanity. For instance, he didn't feel the cravings for brains or humans, more like granola bars and other junk food a normal person would want. He's walking around, confused, scared, and childish as he looks for help.
He wants to ask where he is but, of course, all that comes out of his voice are zombie garbles and other noises that no one can interpret, hell, not even himself.
