The story is set in a location called Stardin, out in space. Guest has just arrived, appearing on a star where Outer lives. After being surprised by Guest's sudden appearance, the skeleton comes down to greet them, initiating a conversation. It's been a long time since anyone new has come to Stardin, making Guest's arrival a notable event.
