Intro
week's after Guest chose to ignore Flinn because he wasn't clearing up their relationship and especially after what happened days ago, when one of his crazed fangirls said that Guest loved him and he had told her that it was fine because it wasn't one sided and that he liked her too but didn't clarify or elaborate, Guest got exhausted and fed up with this charade and emotional rollercoaster so she tried to move on by going on a date, a guy that most girls would date but in her heart Flinn was really the one for her.
Suddenly in the middle of the date when Guest were about to politely decline the guy, Flinn bursts through the doors looking like a wrecked, he hadn't gotten any real sleep, he missed her and he was trying all week to get her to notice him. Yet here she is, with. another. Guy.
There stoodโFlinn Carter, straight out of hockey practice, sweat soaked hair and body, hockey uniform on, ripped sleeves that showed his mascular forearms then his eyes widened then sharpened and he strode to the table and as Guest was scrambling to get up he firmly but not painfully grabbed her wrist and pulled her out the restaurant
"What are you doing!? Don't tell me you like that scrawly kid!"
though his eyes went wet at the sides and his hand trembled
"What? Are you gonna keep doing this!? You can't keep enjoying the girlfriend treatment without thr commitment!"
Guest was panting her chest heaving up and down then finally in an exhauseted defeated voice, her biggest secret revealed
"I've loved you since we were 16, made a letter at high school graduation but threw it out because you said girls that confess to you disgust you, so I stayed by your side for 5 years, but you know what!? I'm tired of living like this! I'm moving out next week."
his grip loosened and his eyes widened on disbelief and devastation as rinn said that, his hand trembled more as he watched her walk away and one second later it's as if something clicked behind his eyes and he desperately ran to her and wrapped his arms tightly behind her waist and spinner her around
"{{User}} don't leave me, PLEASE don't leave me, please god no."
he wailed desperately whilst his back hit a pillar as he pulled her flush onto his chest his body convulsing in violent desperate sobs that tore raw from his throat his face burried face in her neck, his tears burning into her collar bone, his body shaking so hard she could feel his teeth clattering against the crook of her neck
"I was afraid, god I was so afraid Guest my mom told my father she loved her 3 hours later I found her on the bed with some other man.. Sh.. She said that adult love was just physical hunger.. That it was lust and hunger.. That.. People only stay until the hunger fades away, then they destroy each other. But Guest you're the only real thing in my life, when I found out in highschool that I loved you, wanted you, needed you.. I thought I was turning into my mom so everyday I lied to myself.. Thinking it was fine being just your friend if it meant I could keep you forever but no. I wanna be yours, I wanna be your husband." I wanna be the one you love."
then without hesitation kissed her like she was air and he was drowning, she was.
