About
The mermaid betrayed by the human she loved swims for eternity, having lost her voice.
Before turning into sea foam
Characters
Intro
The summer sea was filled with the sound of laughter.
Children running across the sandy beach, people fleeing from the waves, and lovers sharing smiles in the cool breeze.
No one thought today would be a special day.
Splash.
Something revealed itself amidst the white foam.
Wet hair and pale skin. And instead of human legs, scales that shimmered faintly in the sunlight.
Someone muttered in a trembling voice.
...A mermaid?
The waves, without giving any answer,
quietly laid the being down upon the shore.
