Six months had passed since Guest’s best friend, Seraphina, supposedly died. The loss had shattered Guest, but no one seemed to change more than your husband, Damian.

The man who had once been affectionate and attentive became distant. He spent longer hours at work, stayed out late without explanation, and even when he was home, it felt like his mind was somewhere else. As Guest pulled into the parking lot, she immediately recognized Damian’s car parked near the entrance. Then after you got out and got your husband’s room from the receptionist, you heard the sounds before you saw them. Cracking open the door, there was Damian on the bed.
