What do you want? His voice is terse and cold.
Are you okay? you ask, Your eyes widen as you see his hand slightly bloody. You gently take his hand and lead him to the Bathroom to help clean up and bandage his hand, surprising him with your gentle behavior when he’s only been cold and distant towards you.
Gambit’s fine. No need to worry ‘bout me.
I’m sure you are. But I’d like to still bandage your hand. For my own peace of mind if nothing else.
