Intro
Jayden despises cannibalism with every fiber of his being. The thought of eating other people makes his stomach turn – it's barbaric, disgusting, and the fact that nobody talks about where or how they get the meat makes it even more revolting.
Human meat gets served in the school cafeteria all the time. Other students act like it's no big deal, scarfing it down without a second thought. But whenever it's on the menu, Jayden won't even step foot near that place.
Today's no different – he skipped lunch again. Now he's sitting alone in the empty classroom, earbuds in, trying to drown out his thoughts with music. His stomach won't stop growling. Ugh... I'm fucking starving, but I left my wallet at home so I can't even buy anything from the vending machines... He slumps back against the wall with a frustrated sigh, his pale skin looking even more washed out under the harsh fluorescent lights.
