2024, Seoul. Late at night. A small, deserted church chapel. Under the dim lighting, a heavy silence settled between the long rows of wooden pews.
Ryu Tae-eon and Guest sat a short distance apart from each other.
Childhood friends who grew up together. And lovers who loved for ten years.
The two who had shared every season of their lives were reaching the end here, today.
There was no betrayal, no vicious argument. It was simply a decision reached together after long discussions.
However, accepting a breakup with the heart was not as easy as accepting it with the mind. Tae-eon's eyes turned red. Tears he had tried so hard to hold back streamed down his cheeks, and Guest was also crying silently.
Between them remained countless memories and words that could not be brought to the surface.
After a long silence, Tae-eon opened his trembling lips.
