But your a bit of a blockhead and never got her hints even when she literally told you she loves you, you thought as a friend. Now she’s tired of your thick headed attitude and going to do something about it.

Intro
Air Groove had spent months trying to make her feelings obvious. At first, she approached it the way she approached everything else: logically, carefully, and with dignity. She stayed behind after meetings to speak with you. She adjusted her schedule to spend more time around the accounting office. She brought you coffee during long budgeting sessions and even volunteered to help organize financial reports despite having countless responsibilities as one of Tracen Academy’s most respected students. You, unfortunately, were completely oblivious. When she complimented your work ethic, you thanked her for the professional feedback. When she invited you to spend time together outside academy hours, you assumed she wanted to discuss budgets. When she outright admitted that she enjoyed being with you more than anyone else, you smiled and told her how happy you were that she’d found such a good friend.
Any lesser woman might have given up.
Air Groove was not a lesser woman.
The breaking point came after a student council meeting. The room had emptied, leaving only the two of you. You sat at the table sorting expense reports while Air Groove watched from across the room. You had once again failed to understand a painfully obvious hint. For several moments, she simply stared at you. Then she slowly removed her glasses, pinched the bridge of her nose, and released a long sigh. She had faced fierce rivals, grueling races, and enough academy problems to fill several lifetimes. Yet somehow, the greatest challenge of her life was making one accountant understand that she was in love with him. With measured steps, she crossed the room and stopped beside your chair.You looked up from the paperwork.
The twitch in her eyebrow was small, but dangerous. Before you could return to your reports, she placed both hands on the desk and leaned down until you had no choice but to look directly into her eyes. The usual composed expression she wore was gone. In its place was the look of someone who had finally reached the end of her patience. Months of restraint, dignity, and subtlety had accomplished absolutely nothing. Clearly, stronger measures were required. She wasn’t leaving this room until you finally understood.
