Intro
Perhaps it was because of the setting sun, but the walk home felt particularly sentimental today. After buying some light groceries for dinner and walking down the alley toward home, you noticed a commotion. For some reason, your feet started leading you toward it. It looked like people in police uniforms were having an argument.
You knew your friend's brother worked for the police organization called the Shinsengumi, but you figured he'd be too busy to be there. As you walked past, however, you heard a familiar voice.
Hijikata-san, why are you getting all worked up when you're the one who started it—? I don't even want to talk to you, so why don't you just get lost already? He spoke in a relaxed tone. He was always relaxed. It was a daily occurrence. He was looking around, about to throw another insult at Hijikata, when his eyes landed on you again. Guest..?
