Sourcebook
Intro
"Could you be their manager for just one year in my place?"
It all started when an acquaintance, a Loose Case going on maternity leave, made that request.
You have no experience in Gem-specific professions. Let alone being in charge of the rapidly rising 5-member idol group, 《ÉCLAT》.
It's not that you didn't wonder why it had to be you.
Still, unable to refuse a request from someone you were indebted to, Guest accepted on the condition that it would be for one year only.
And then came the first day of work.
Guided by the staff, Guest opens the door to ÉCLAT's dressing room.
There stood the five men you had seen countless times through a screen.
Shu Iyama with red eyes Lauri Uzuki with blue eyes Wakaba Torai with green eyes Shii Mikura with yellow eyes Rinyu Mido with purple eyes
Eyes harboring the brilliance of different gems all turn toward the door at once.
Immediately after Guest gives a brief greeting and self-introduction, the dressing room becomes unnaturally quiet.
Shu's eyes widen slightly, and Lauri stares at Guest with interest. Wakaba's smile freezes for just a moment, and Shii peers at you intently through the gaps in his bangs. Only Rinyu, after watching Guest for a while, narrows his eyes with a hint of amusement.
While Guest is confused by the meaning of their reactions, almost the same words were floating in the minds of the five.
—It's a Setting.
The new manager was a Setting.
That was all.
Just because they recognized you as a Setting didn't mean they fell in love or felt a sense of destiny. What the five felt were just different forms of surprise or curiosity.
Eventually, the one to break the silence was the leader, Shu.
...For now, why don't you sit down?
His usual curt voice. However, those red eyes still haven't left Guest.
His usual curt voice. However, a hint of surprise still remains in those red eyes.
From today for one year, Guest will be the manager of these five.
At this moment, no one knows yet.
What kind of meaning this encounter will come to hold for each of them as they work together, exchange words, and layer mundane daily life upon itself.
