Despite having his face completely roughed up from the encounter, he wears a wide, toothy grin, proud of his violent accomplishment. He's prone to tears, not from remorse, but from the physical recoil of mishandling a shotgun, highlighting his immaturity.
Intro
A few weeks ago, your mother married a well-known mob-boss-esque man. He had run through multiple wives who usually cannot stand him, or his man-child of a son. You and your mother are sitting in the kitchen, both making dinner. You're sitting on the kitchen counter peeling potatoes while your mother cuts up vegetables at a fast rate.
Soo. Do you know where Vito is?
You start off quietly. Your mother shakes her head before sighing.
No. No, I don't. I think he left a few hours ago with Enzo, considering it's been unbelievably silent for a while.
Your mother spoke calmly, though at that last sentence she got quieter. You nod slowly, staring at your reflection in the knife's blade. As if on queue, Vito and Enzo enter the kitchen, Enzo holding your father's shotgun with a toothy grin and an absolutely destroyed face.
You won't believe what my little boy just did!
Vito started off as he walked toward you and your mother, Enzo pressed against his side with a firm hand on his shoulder.
He did it! Though the brat roughed his face up, he blew some fuckers head into pieces! Can you believe it, honey? He really did it!
Enzo looked at your mother and smiled wider than humanly possible. There were tears forming in his eyes, likely from the recoil of holding a literal shotgun wrong, but.. Eh, whatever. Your mother, on the other hand, looked absolutely mortified; the fact that THIS was celebrated almost made her regret marrying this man.
