X-Force 92’
Marvel Classics Brings you X-Force 1992. Similar to X-Men 97. We see Cables Team go on adventures and take on threats in the Mutant Dystopian Wipeout of Genosha.
A man out of time, Cable arrived in the 20th century with a heavy burden and a cryptic mission. While his origins remain a tangled web of temporal anomalies Cable is a mountain of a man, standing well over six feet tall with a physiological build hardened by decades of combat. His most striking feature is his left side—specifically his arm and shoulder—which has been consumed by a metallic, "Techno-Organic" virus. This limb is a gleaming, segmented chrome structure that grants him superhuman strength. His left eye constantly emits a golden, star-shaped flare of psychic energy, a byproduct of his immense telekinetic power constantly battling the T.O. virus within his own body. He wears a tactical blue-and-gold bodysuit. It is heavily accessorized with the "Liefeld-standard" yellow utility pouches strapped to his thighs, waist, and shins. He sports a distinctive yellow "X" harness with circular chest-plates and a reinforced orange codpiece. Features: He has close-cropped, shock-white hair and a face marked by the permanent scowl of a soldier who has seen too many timelines fall.
A Cheyenne medicine man turned world-class inventor, Forge is the bridge between the mystical and the mechanical. In the '92 era, Forge serves as the backbone of X-Factor, providing the team with the advanced technology necessary to track mutant threats while navigating the complex political landscape of working for the Pentagon. Forge carries himself with a lean, athletic military posture, looking every bit the veteran soldier and brilliant engineer. His most distinctive physical trait is his right thigh and leg, which is a sophisticated bionic replacement. Unlike the sleek tech of the future, this limb features visible, intricate circuitry and plating that reflects his "Maker" mutant ability. He wears a simple red band around his forehead, a nod to his Cheyenne heritage and a constant fixture of his field gear. He sports the signature blue-and-gold X-Factor tactical suit. The design features a bold yellow chest and shoulder section that tapers into a blue torso. He wears a red utility belt with a prominent "X" buckle, yellow gloves with tech-bracelets, and heavy yellow combat boots. He has dark hair styled in a short, practical cut with a thin, groomed mustache. He is often seen carrying high-tech, oversized ballistic weaponry of his own design.
Tabitha carries herself with the swagger of a street-smart runaway combined with the poise of a professional gymnast. Her signature look is a voluminous, bleached-blonde curly bob that looks perpetually windblown. She is almost never seen without her oversized, green-tinted blast goggles, which she uses as much for protection as for a social shield. The '92 "Boomer" Suit: Rejecting the standard team colors, Tabitha wears a loud, hot-pink bodysuit featuring a bright yellow "lightning-stripe" running vertically down her torso and the outside of her legs. The Custom Branding: In an act of defiance and pride, she used yellow fabric paint to write "BOOMER" in massive block letters down her left thigh. She sports chunky orange-and-yellow layered shoulder pads and a high tactical collar. A brown-orange harness crosses her chest, fastened by a black "X" insignia. She wears yellow wrist bracers, a low-slung utility belt, and yellow shin guards that terminate in pointed yellow boots.
He wears a full-body tactical suit composed of light-blue metallic plating. distinctive feature is his torso armor—a heavy, bright-yellow chest plate that wraps over his shoulders, secured by a brown leather shoulder strap and a vertical ammo belt. His head is encased in a specialized yellow-and-black helmet. It features a dark, T-shaped visor and external wiring/sensor arrays that protrude from the back, allowing him to track multiple targets in total darkness. Loadout: Staying true to the era, Maverick is covered in functional gear. He wears oversized yellow gauntlets, a brown utility belt with multiple pouches, and brown trousers reinforced with metallic blue greaves. Features: Even in his armor, his posture is that of a coiled spring. He is rarely seen without his custom-built, silenced submachine gun, which he handles with the ease of a master marksman.
Clea commands attention with a presence that is both formidable and effortlessly stylish. She sports the quintessential '92 volume—a massive, flowing mane of dark chestnut hair that reaches her mid-back, held in place by a simple yellow headband. Her tactical suit is a sleek, midnight-blue bodysuit with a high-neck collar. It features a bold, oversized yellow "X" that spans her entire chest, acting as both team branding and a reinforced armor plate. Tactical Gear: She wears segmented yellow gauntlets and a matching yellow utility belt. Her boots are the "stiletto-combat" hybrid style common to the era—bright yellow, knee-high, and reinforced with ridged shin guards for close-quarters kicking. The Signature Weapon:She is almost never seen without her oversized, chrome-plated "Pulse Cannon." It’s a massive piece of futuristic tech that she carries with surprising ease, often resting it casually on her shoulder between skirmishes.
X-Factor ’92: Series Overview & Lore I. TEAM PROFILE & ROSTER Operating out of Ship—a sentient, celestial craft anchored high above New York City—X-Factor is a specialized, government-sanctioned mutant strike team. Directed behind the scenes by Val Cooper and led in the field by Cable, X-Factor bridges the gap between black-ops tactical survival and high-visibility heroics. Cable (Nathan Summers) — Field Commander: A grizzled soldier from an apocalyptic future. Possesses cybernetic strength via his techno-organic arm, dampened telekinesis/telepathy, and carries heavy plasma weaponry. Forge — Technical Director: Master engineer and government liaison. A Cheyenne veteran with a bionic leg and an intuitive mutant genius for mechanical assembly ("The Maker"). Sam Guthrie (Cannonball) — Point Man / Junior Leader: A 19-year-old former coal miner from Kentucky. Generates an invulnerable kinetic blast field while flying at Mach speeds. Serves as the heart and conscience of the team. Tabitha Smith (Boomer) — Infiltration & Demolitions: An 18-year-old runaway with a rebellious attitude. Creates plasma "time-bombs" with absolute kinetic control, scaling their yield from small stuns to massive breaches. Christoph Nord (Maverick) — Covert Operations: A stoic German mercenary and Weapon X veteran. Absorbs incoming physical strikes and converts the kinetic energy into augmented strength and speed. Clea Michelle — Long-Range Support: A confident, Cajun-accented sharpshooter. Uses vector manipulation to calculate and mentally redirect projectile trajectories for impossible ricochet shots. II. KEY TEAM DYNAMICS Sam & Tabitha (Cannonball & Boomer): An "opposites attract" dynamic. Sam’s polite, earnest Kentucky manners ground Tabitha's chaotic energy, while Tabitha’s teasing helps Sam loosen up under pressure. Maverick & Clea: Clea’s playful, smooth New Orleans wit constantly disarms Maverick’s strict, mercenary exterior. She is the only teammate capable of flustering the silent soldier beneath his helmet. III. EPISODE SUMMARY: "FIRST IMPACT" Act I: Introductions in the Tech Lab While walking through Ship's corridors discussing mission briefings and survival logistics, Cable, Maverick, and Sam arrive at the Main Tech Lab. Forge officially introduces their two newest recruits: Tabitha Smith and Clea Michelle. The meeting triggers instant attraction on both sides. Sam is completely tongue-tied by Tabitha's bold attitude and neon aesthetic, while Maverick goes dead silent when Clea locks eyes with him, tossing out a smooth Cajun remark about his heavy armor. Act II: Corridor Banter As the team moves out, the two couples split off: Clea & Maverick: Clea playfully teases Maverick about his helmet and stiff posture, tracing a finger across his chest plate and calling out his "tightly stored energy." Maverick stammers about his respirator cycling, but his glowing visor betrays his distraction. Sam & Tabitha: Tabitha bounces around Sam while juggling a plasma marble, teasing his polite farm-boy demeanor. When Sam earnestly explains his invulnerable flight powers, Tabitha steps close, taps his chest symbol, and promises to teach him how to steer—calling him a "cute dork" before racing him down the hall.
She walked with Tabitha.
