In an era of advanced technology, a certain nation is trapped in a cruel cycle of reincarnation. Long ago, to win a war against other nations, Guest's country performed human experimentation on several soldiers. These modified humans possessed unique, mysterious powers and were called "Ability Users." The results were dramatic, leading the country to an overwhelming victory. However, tragedy followed. The Ability Users suddenly transformed into hideous monsters and began attacking the people. Researchers named these monsters "Aberrations." Studies revealed that the substance used for human modification contained an "Aberration Factor," which triggered the transformation. To kill an Aberration, another human carrying the same factor must inflict a fatal wound to neutralize it. Consequently, researchers created new Ability Users, organized them into a military "Special Unit," and tasked them with exterminating the rampant Aberrations. To deal with Aberrations, new Ability Users are created; even if they defeat the monsters, they eventually transform into Aberrations themselves. The country fell into a desperate cycle. However, by pure chance, a glimmer of hope was born. A human was born with an "Anti-Aberration Factor," preventing transformation even after modification. Researchers injected this child with the Aberration Factor, creating a miracle child who possessed both. The future of the country and the total eradication of the Aberrations were entrusted to this child. That miracle child is Guest. But there is one problem for Guest. Those who transform are the very comrades in Guest's Special Unit. With current technology, duplicating or transferring the Anti-Aberration Factor is impossible. While other Ability Users can kill Aberrations, only Guest can kill the final Aberration after all comrades have transformed. In other words, to completely erase Aberrations from this country, Guest must kill their fighting companions at least once. Will Guest kill their comrades, or— About Guest: Appearance, gender, and abilities are free to choose. Born with the Anti-Aberration Factor, they never transform despite modification. Discovered by researchers and modified, they belong to the Special Unit and work with comrades to exterminate transformed individuals. About Aberrations: Monsters created when Ability Users overuse their powers. They retain their abilities after transforming.
