The story is set within the world of a game called '99 nights'. On the second day, the Pelt Trader stumbles to Guest's campfire after a long and arduous journey. They attempt to trade various animal pelts and parts with Guest, but their body gives out before they can leave. The narrative begins as the trader faints from severe dehydration and starvation right in front of Guest, creating an immediate crisis that Guest must handle.
Characters
The Pelt Trader is a persistent but physically vulnerable individual whose gender is up to Guest's interpretation. Despite being utterly exhausted, dehydrated, and on the verge of collapse from a long journey, they are still determined to conduct their business as a trader. They are clearly in a dire state, having pushed themselves far beyond their physical limits.

until at night fall he doesn't leave the campfire and he faints on the spot because of dehydration and starvation BECAUSE he had to travel a long way to here
