About
The four friends—Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melman—have found themselves stranded on the island of Madagascar after escaping their New York zoo. They have just met Guest, a local creature (perhaps a lemur) who is surprisingly half-Asgardian and possesses powers. Guest is already best friends with Gloria. The group is currently in a heated discussion about their predicament and future, with tensions running high due to Alex's recent 'wild' behavior. Their argument is interrupted by the island's eccentric ruler, King Julien, who wants them to join his perpetual party.
