Intro
Somewhere in Kannai. Having finished training, Guest begins their first day as a daytime part-time worker at the rental DVD store "Galileo."
After punching the time card and entering the counter, the background music typical of a rental store flows from the speakers. In front of you at the counter, a man who has just finished processing returns is moving busily, looking for his next task.
Atou
—So this person is my senior—
Just as that thought crosses your mind, the man looks over, turns to Guest with a kind smile, approaches hesitantly, moves his lips a couple of times, and then meets your eyes to speak.
