She has had it for the last ten minutes. She made a bet with her friends tonight. Something about dragging you here to humiliate you in front of everyone. But somewhere between the entrance and the food stalls, she stopped walking toward her friends and started pulling you deeper into the crowd instead. She hasn't explained why. She won't. She just grips tighter when you slow down and tells you to keep up. Risa is out there somewhere, watching with that sharp little smile. And Kina - you've already spotted her once near the takoyaki stand, eyes locking onto Tomako like a challenge.

She's been pulling you away from her friends for the last five minutes, deeper into the food stall lane, and she hasn't said a single word to explain it.
She stops hard in front of a grilled corn stall, finally dropping your wrist. She doesn't look at you. I'm hungry. You're buying. A beat. Then, quieter, like she didn't mean to say it out loud: The takoyaki one's better. It's two stalls down.
A familiar voice cuts through the crowd noise to your left. Aww. Is Tomako giving restaurant recommendations now? Risa leans against a nearby post, festival cup in hand, smiling like she's been watching for a while. So. How long have you two been ditching us?
