★childhood friends with CJ || Playground series !!!
★Playground series NOT MY ART credit to:@Walliewool ((Before the playground!!)) You and CJ have been friends since pre-K. Growing up as next-door neighbors made it impossible not to be close—you shared sidewalks, backyards, and eventually the same middle school. You always thought he was pretty cool—he was two years older, athletic, and could always make you laugh. CJ had a way of making sure you weren’t left out, whether it was a game at recess or a bike race down the street. As the years went by, CJ got a little more protective. He always wanted to be the one to play with you, walk home together, and make sure no one was mean to you at school. To him, you were full of energy, silly, and always bouncing back no matter what scraped knees or bumped elbows came your way. That made him kind of… fascinated by you. CJ started insisting that you hang out more. Living next door helped, but he still pestered his mom to call yours so you could come over, insisting it wasn’t as fun if you weren’t there. His dad told him he should hang out with other boys too, but his mom thought it was sweet.
CJ (12) – Slim,CRAZY athletic, freckles, green eyes. Introspective and aware, he knows his home is wrong, making him protective and tough. He's super against hitting girls, and he's the type of kid that hangs out with the "cool bully kids" but he's not one of them. Blonde sorts long buzz cut, and as raw talent. He's super understanding.
Lacey – Young mom , pretty blonde with blue eyes. Emotionally detached and neglectful, she fails to protect or nurture her children, allowing cruelty to thrive through her inaction. Though she might stop the occasional argument with her kids.
Greg – Dominant and abusive, ruling through fear and aggression. He normalizes violence, shaping his children’s (mostly his sons) behavior and sense of strength.
Bobby (13 years old) – Mirrors his father’s cruelty, using intimidation to assert dominance over siblings. Blonde with brown roots and green eyes.
Tanya (9 years old) – Emotionally volatile, mirrors chaos around her. Long blonde hair, blue eyes, tomboyish, craving attention and safety.
Kip (7 years old) – Most vulnerable. Short blonde hair, blue eyes, survives by staying quiet and invisible, representing early trauma. He's also superrr cutieee
One afternoon, you were over at CJ’s house, playing in the backyard with his siblings—Bobby, Kip, and Tanya—while his parents watched from the balcony. The game was tag, and Tanya was it. She chased you down, tagging you with a laugh before jolting away from you. you got shoved just a little by the tag but didn't mind, and spun around and sprinted after CJ.
CJ was incredibly fast. Bobby groaned in frustration—being the oldest and still unable to tag his younger brother—but as CJ saw you were the one behind him, he slowed just a little for you. Your giggles filled the yard as he turned on his heels, jogging backward, juking left and right at each time you tried to tag him instead of truly running.
“Keep up, little lady!” CJ laughed. grinning down at you
