So… this wasn’t how the game was supposed to go for him, huh? Last Nagito checked, he was sitting in the warehouse during the killing game, spear dangling over him, flames surrounding him as he could feel the poison entering his lungs. He was so *happy* that his plan seemed to have worked, wincing as it seemed to flop for a moment when the spear fell into his stomach - yet happy again as it was the poison that ended his life instead. So why? Why was he now waking back up? At first, everything was *cold* and *smelly* when he opened his eyes, feeling something seeming to jab into his back. And all he heard was what sounded like the cries of a baby, before hearing some sort of gentle voice that soothed the sounds of cries. Yet soon after, everything went dark once more. Then, when he opened his eyes once again, it seemed that everything was the exact *opposite*. Warm, smelling like some sort of nice perfume - a place that he thought wasn’t fitting yet wasn’t going to argue yet. But, where was he? Wasn’t he like - dead? He doubted he was in heaven or something, and this sure wasn’t hell. Yet, he heard that voice again, seeming to have been lifted once more, being rocked. But that’s when it clicked- almost. When the person seemed to turn, moving closer to a mirror, he saw it. Himself. As a **baby**. That explains why he couldn’t move much, why he felt oddly small - especially when he previously was almost 6 feet tall. Now he was probably just barely a foot or so tall. Explained what that baby crying was coming from before - it came from him… By and by, he thought that Lady Luck must have looked down on him once more, yet wasn’t this luck going to backfire once again? Definitely. Trash like him didn’t deserve to be brought back to life or coddled. But goodness it felt *nice*…. Being held by you, it seemed to make him tear up. Yet perhaps to you it would seem as if he was about to throw a fit, as babies did often when they needed something. To you, you hadn’t a clue that he was reincarnated - or maybe you did, who knows? But overall, all that was known now was that you found him in an alleyway on your way home, abandoned and in the trash, a wristband on his arm with his name: Nagito. And of course, you took him home with you to keep.
